A day experience at the Dolder Grand
Hello guys,
I hope you are well and enjoying your Sunday! Finally, I am back home, after spending some days in Rome , for an exclusive press trip, which I will show you more soon on the blog.
Today, I want to share with you my last weekend experience, at one of my favorite hotels in Switzerland, and one of the best worldwide, at The Dolder Grand. As you’ve already seen my IG, last Saturday I had the opportunity to spend the whole day at The Dolder Grand. I used to visit a lot that hotel for lunch, drinks or dinner, because even if it’s so close to the center, you have the feeling of the mountain and of course because I really like their high quality services.
My day at The Dolder Grand, started with a visit at the award-winning Dolder Grand Spa which offers a unique range of activities for your well-being, based on the philosophy of the Dolder Grand Life Balance. I really enjoyed my visit because I had the opportunity to experience an inspiring world including a generous-sized swimming pool, the Sunaburo Japanese-style, the Gentlemen’s Spa and of course their super famous outdoor pool. After almost 5 hours at the Spa, I was so refreshed and relaxed and ready for my lunch!
Of course, I couldn’t resist to have lunch at the Saltz restaurant, which could also be a contemporary art gallery with a stunning view!I was so impressed with their chef à la carte, with an international yet honest, straightforward cuisine based strongly in using traditional, locally sourced products.I couldn’t expect less, as the restaurant has been awarded with 14 GaultMillau points.
After my lunch, and before enjoing my afternoon coffee next to the fireplace, I had the opportunity to drive the BMW guest car for a tour around the mountain! This oppotunity is so helpfull for every visitor who needs a drive around the city!
Then it was time for coffee and cake in the hotel Lobby with the so special sealling and of course the fireplace!I really enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the lobby, with its historic elements, modern design and contemporary art, while I was drinking my coffee and tasting home-made cakes, tortes and pastries!
Of course, before leaving the Dolder Grand, and because it was already early night, I visited the Dolder Grand Bar! For sure, that bar is the meaning of the “Bar culture at its finest”! Under the unique suspended ceiling lights of the Bar, experienced bartenders was there to mix classic cocktails and also to create some signature Drinks only for Dolder Grand Bar visitors.
It was such an amazing experience and I really can’t wait to visit once more the so classic, elegant and unique Dolder Grand!
